Local nonprofit SA2020 recently released its 2017 impact report, tracking the city's progress in various cause areas to improve conditions within San Antonio communities.

Targeting eleven cause areas, the report uses local data to measure whether goals have been met or are on track to be met by 2020. Of the 61 primary indicators, 70 percent are seeing progress, according to the report.

The organization and their data partners CI:Now also look at the status of guidelines that are not seeing progress or may be getting worse.

In this first episode of "The Source" SA2020 impact report series, target areas up for discussion include family well-being, neighborhoods and downtown development.

From reducing income segregation and combating child abuse and neglect, to increasing employment and economic impact in the downtown area, to lowering the cost burden of homes and improving digital access, how do these conditions impact you?

What can be done to make San Antonio a more stable, livable city? How does where you live affect your and your family's opportunities?
