With five campuses across the San Antonio area, Alamo Colleges has a lot of ground to cover when it comes to providing an affordable education.
The network's board recently approved a new tuition policy, which incentivizes students to take a full load of classes during spring and fall semesters in order to receive free credit hours the following summer.
This change, Alamo Colleges claims, is one of multiple initiatives the board plans to take in order to "increase efficiencies" after a loss in aid provided by the state.
