In the name of journalism, she’s gone spelunking, tagged mussels and taste-tested bourbon. Erica moved to Louisville in June 2011 from Charleston, West Virginia, where she worked for the state’s public radio and television affiliate. Besides Kentucky and West Virginia, she’s lived in New Jersey, Minnesota and Illinois. She lives with her husband and son in Louisville.

Elena See started her radio career in Minnesota in 2001, working as part of the production team for Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion. She moved to Maine and started working as the classical music director for Maine Public Broadcasting in 2003. Eventually, she headed south to Washington, DC for several years to try out satellite radio with Sirius XM joining Classical 24 in 2009.

Miranda Whitus was TPR's 2015 Summer Arts Intern. She is a San Antonio native but is currently studying Art History and Film & Electronic Arts at Bard College in upstate New York. Miranda graduated Communications Arts High School . She was a previous intern at ArtPace and spent six years at SAYSí as a part of the middle school and high school program. She is a long time enthusiast and participant in the San Antonio art and music scene and hopes to remain a part of San Antonio's rich culture for years to come.

Stephanie Hughes is the senior producer for “Maryland Morning,” WYPR's daily news magazine show. She's covered issues including business, housing, and women's rights, and is interested in citizen journalism and crowdsourcing. She’s also contributed to media outlets including NPR’s “Morning Edition,” “All Things Considered,” “Marketplace,” “The Takeaway,” and Salon.

For 25 years, Maria Hinojosa has helped tell America’s untold stories and brought to light unsung heroes in America and abroad. In April 2010, Hinojosa launched The Futuro Media Group with the mission to produce multiplatform, community-based journalism that respects and celebrates the cultural richness of the American Experience. She is currently reporting for “ Frontline” on immigration detention.
