Texas Public Radio welcomes your next event! Let us know your event needs today by emailing rentals@tpr.org to schedule a call, site visit, or to learn more information!

Worth Repeating is Texas Public Radio's live storytelling event series turned podcast. From last chances to first tries, from far flung adventures, to hometown cautionary tales, storytellers have seven minutes to tell a great story from our stage, often to sold-out crowds.

Hosted at TPR's Irma & Emilio Nicolas Media Center inside the intimate Malú & Carlos Alvarez Theater & Studios, these events are not to be missed. As we do each year, we're asking you or someone you know to submit a story. Your stories are worth repeating.
2025-2026 season is made possible by the 80/20 Foundation, and the Lifshutz Foundation.

We love a good story, and we want to hear yours. This page has all the information you need to submit your story for our live storytelling event Worth Repeating.

“Mirror Books” from TPR's Book Public helps us explore the idea of mirror books — stories that reflect children’s lives, families, cultures and experiences. We’ll look at why it matters for children to see themselves in books, and how those books can become a starting point for conversation, connection and learning at home. The podcast explores the mirror books that shaped writers themselves to become the authors of the books that help encourage lifelong reading.
