Early voting for the 2020 primary wrapped up last week and candidates are turning their focus to Super Tuesday.
Turnout during early voting was high — but not unprecedented compared to other primary elections. According to theBexar County Elections Department, 78,206 Democratic ballots and 43,970 Republican ballots were cast in person during early voting.
For those voting on Election Day, here's everything you need to know before you head to the polls:
WHERE
Voters may go to any polling place or voting center on Election Day.

WHEN
- Election Day: Tuesday, March 3
- Voting Centers are open 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
WHAT YOU NEED TO VOTE
Just an ID. Here are the forms of ID that are acceptable:
- Texas Driver License issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)
- Texas Personal Identification issued by DPS
- Texas Election Identification Certificate issued by DPS
- Texas Handgun License issued by DPS
- United States Military Identification Card (with photograph)
- United States Citizenship Certificate (with photograph)
- United States Passport (book or card)

Make sure you're registered to vote at your current address. If not, it's not too late to register for future elections. The last day to register for the General Election is Oct. 5.
