Growing up, Thomas Porter was a bad seed who was as likely to turn his mom onto marijuana as he was to turn up for school. He was rebellious. He was a hell-raiser. He was just not quite right.
Predictably his stoner, drop-out ways led to his familial excommunication.
By the time he tried to get right, he thought it might be too late. But someone opened a door for him in an unlikely place, at a migrant GED program.
The world is full of secret blessers, people who open doors for us. Thomas Porter got to thank his @WRepeating tonight. Chuy gave a stoner drop out a second chance. One that he took and succeeded with. @tprcommunity pic.twitter.com/sJHNK1XCRh
