Voter Registration Deadline Fast Approaching

If you want to cast a ballot in the May 6 city and school district election, but aren’t registered to vote, time is running out.
Under state law, citizens need to be registered at least 30 days before an election.  That means this Thursday, April 6, is the deadline.
Voter registration cards are available at the county elections office, on the elections department website, as well as at area libraries. You can also check to see if you are already registered to vote and in which precinct.
