The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo set new attendance records this year.  Cumulative attendance at Rodeo performances in the AT&T Center was the largest in the show’s 68 year history.  Additionally, this year’s grounds attendance of over two million edged out the 2016 all-time record.
The Grand Champion Junior Market Steer sold for $106,000 and the total auction contribution is currently $5.5 million.  That’s expected to climb with add-on contributions open until March 15.
Money raised is used for scholarships.  The total contribution amount will be announced at the Stock Show & Rodeo’s annual meeting in May.
