Preparations for the Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner begin early in the week.

The annual Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner is taking place tomorrow at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center.
More than 4,000 volunteers help prepare and serve the meal of turkey, stuffing, yams, green beans and pumpkin pie.
Homebound residents who are not able to attend the dinner can have a meal delivered.  The number to call for information or to arrange a delivery is 211 through 6 p.m. Wednesday.
If you miss the deadline to call but still need a meal you can call 210-582-7034 or 210-582-7035 on Thanksgiving Day.
