Southside ISD Board of Trustees has settled on Mark E. Eads as the lone finalist in its search to find a new superintendent.
Eads is currently the San Marcos CISD superintendent. He beat out 57 other applicants. After a 21-day vetting process, Eads is expected to start with the district on May 9th.
The search began last December and was conducted by the Texas Association of School Boards. It included community involvement sessions and a leadership and characteristics report.
