San Antonio and parts of the Hill Country were surprised by a line of dark clouds as a weak front moved across the area this morning.
Meteorologist Larry Hopper at the National Weather Service office in New Braunfels says they were expecting a few sprinkles with the front, but not any of the really wet stuff.
Hopper says the area can expect just slightly cooler temperatures tonight and a greater chance of a shower this weekend.
Meteorologists are expecting this summer to be warmer than usual, Hopper added.
"One spot looks like it got 1/100th of an inch of rain this morning in Bexar County, but for the most part, everyone's had no rainfall at all or just a trace from the light drizzle and sprinkles."
