Bring your projects and supplies, and mingle with other needlecrafters for an afternoon of sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc.! All skill levels are welcome in this self-directed meetup. This is not an instructional class. The target audience is adults but teens are also welcome to attend with an adult.

A Charlie Brown Christmas follows Charlie Brown as he sets out to discover the true meaning of the holiday season. Despite the decorations, presents, and cheerful spirit all around him, Charlie feels something is missing. With guidance from Lucy, Linus, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang, he takes on directing the school Christmas play, hoping it will help him find what the season is really about. Based on the beloved television special, this faithful stage adaptation features the original score, gentle humor, and a timeless message about love, community, and simplicity. YOSA Philharmonic returns with the second annual A Holiday Spectacular bringing together live orchestra, ballet, and chorus for a one-night celebration of the season!
This collaborative concert features highlights from The Nutcracker performed with live dancers from the School of Ballet San Antonio, vocal selections by the Children’s Chorus of San Antonio, and orchestral music from the YOSA Philharmonic. The young musicians of YOSA Concertino Strings will also be featured in a special spotlight performance. To top it all off, a guest conductor from the North Pole will make an appearance to lead a fun and festive finale.

Celebrate the holiday season with The Frosty Follies, a festive cabaret that showcases beloved holiday classics performed by some of San Antonio’s most talented artists. Set in an intimate space adorned with twinkling lights, this heartwarming production is a perfect way to embrace the joy and spirit of the season with family and friends.

Featuring a trove of cherished songs, including “Climb Ev’ry Mountain,” “My Favorite Things,” “Do-Re-Mi,” “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” and the title number, The Sound of Music won the hearts of audiences worldwide, earning five Tony Awards and five Oscars. The inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows an ebullient postulate who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, Maria and the entire von Trapp family must make a moral decision.
Shows are on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, and Sundays at 3 PM. Special shows on December 13 at 2 PM and December 23 at 7 PM.
