Trinity University's Madrid Lecture Series Presents Octavio Solis
Special guest Playwright and Director, Octavio Solis will present this year's Madrid Lecture: "Memory: My Faulty Muse." In his talk, he will share how memory enables acts of love and art while coping with his mother's Alzheimer's Syndrome and the fears of inheriting it. For him, a deeper cultural memory persists in calling to a more tribal pre-history, one in which he is a citizen of no nation, but a child of a tumultuous and complicated earth. The reception and lecture will be held at Coates Student Center at The Skyline.
