Strings & Air: A Musical Journey from Impressionist France to Modern America

Strings & Air: A Musical Journey from Impressionist France to Modern America

✨ San Antonio Chamber Music Society welcomes the acclaimed Balourdet Quartet and celebrated flutist Adam W. Sadberry for an unforgettable evening of chamber music.

The Balourdet Quartet—winners of major competitions including the Concert Artists Guild Grand Prize and the first‑ever Quartet in Residence at the Seattle Chamber Music Society—brings extraordinary precision, warmth, and expressive range.

Joining them is Adam W. Sadberry, a deeply communicative flutist recognized by The Washington Post as one of its “23 Artists to Watch,” whose radiant, lyrical sound reflects both orchestral mastery and artistic advocacy.

🎶 Together, they explore the full spectrum of color and emotion—from the sweeping Romanticism of Amy Beach and Maurice Ravel to the evocative contemporary voices of Adolphus Hailstork, Jonathan Bailey Holland, and Joan Tower. Expect music that moves between intimacy, vibrant color, and exhilarating energy.

Individual tickets are $25 at the door or online at sacms.org/concert-tickets through January 24. Students and Active-Duty Military Admitted Free.
