The annual Sankofa Institute Women's Conference lifts, empowers, and provides women an opportunity for healing and spiritual development. The conference brings together women of all ages and ethnicities to share their experiences, learn from one another, and heal together. Participants will hear from world-class speakers who will shine a light on different aspects of women’s issues, share their personal experiences, and lead spiritually-driven healing for women of all stages of life. This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Phillis Isabella Sheppard who will present her topic: Inspired and Empowered to Thrive.

Dr. Sheppard’s topic will delve into a womanist integrative model of care for self and community.
