ROOTED IN RUTH: A NEW CREATION

ROOTED IN RUTH: A NEW CREATION

The Ecumenical Center and The Art Song Center for Poets and Musicians present Rooted in Ruth: A New Creation, a free evening of poetry and music on Thursday, April 10, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Ecumenical Center, 8310 Ewing Halsell Drive, San Antonio, TX.

This powerful performance explores themes of loss, self-doubt, and emotional struggle, leading audiences through a transformative journey of resilience and self-worth. The event features original poetry from The Soul’s Journey Poetry Circle, a free therapeutic arts program, and unfolds in three rounds, each representing a stage of inner transformation. Professional singers and musicians will blend spoken word and live music to create an immersive experience. Named in honor of Ruth Friedberg, co-founder of the Art Song Center, the event continues her legacy of artistic and emotional expression. Attendees are encouraged to register online to secure their spot.

For more information or to RSVP, contact LCenanovic@ecrh.org or call 210-616-0885. Parking details will be shared upon RSVP confirmation.
