Melissa Gohlke, a scholar of San Antonio’s LGBTQIA+ history, will provide a virtual
presentation about Arthur “Happy” Veltman and the Happy Foundation archives. Happy
was a local business entrepreneur who was instrumental in the commercial development of the River Walk, Blue Star Arts Complex and more and his foundation houses mountains of papers chronicling local and national LGBTQ+ history.
