Mehregan is an ancient Iranian festival, dating back thousands of years. The word "Mehr" (in Mehregan) in the Persian language means kindness. Mehr represents knowledge, love, light and friendship. Mehregan is an Iranian festival celebrated in honor of Mithra, the divinity of covenant, and hence of interpersonal relationships such as friendship, affection and love. This years Mehregan Festival will include a vendor market, art exhibits, live performances and kids activities and much more. We hope you will join us for this festive event!
