MACRI Talk - Latino Voting Power: Past, Present, and the 2024 Election

MACRI Talk - Latino Voting Power: Past, Present, and the 2024 Election

The United States is increasingly Black, Latino, and Asian American, giving underrepresented people significant potential to influence politics like never before. Yet, this hasn’t been fully reflected in recent election cycles. Why? According to Dr. Bernard Fraga, it’s because of the turnout gap: voting-eligible minorities have turned out to vote less than the white electorate. What causes the turnout gap? How do we close it? 🗳️

To learn more, join us on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 6 PM Central for a special election-month MACRI Talk on Latino Voting Power: Past, Present, and the 2024 Election featuring Dr. Bernard Fraga.

Our FREE virtual event will stream live on Facebook at https://bit.ly/FB-MACRI and YouTube at https://bit.ly/YT-MACRI.

RSVP to receive a reminder for the talk.

MACRI's programs are funded in part by the City of San Antonio Department of Arts & Culture, Bexar County, the Mellon Foundation, the John L. Santikos Charitable Foundation Fund of the San Antonio Area Foundation, Wells Fargo, and individual donors like you! Gracias!
