Indecisive Book Club - Lessons In Chemistry
This month we are reading “Lessons in Chemistry” by Bonnie Garmus. At the heart of the 60’s, Elizabeth Zott is a scientist on the cusp of advancing her career. And yet, the only good thing to happen to her is meeting Calvin Evans, a Nobel nominee and a legend. He is the only one that treats her with respect and her ideas as equal. Elizabeth and Calvin may have a spark of true chemistry, but life is never as predictable as a chemical reaction. It’s suddenly three years later Elizabeth is a single mother, hosting her own a cooking show. Elizabeth's singular approach to cooking and independence are proving to be quite revolutionary.
Join the Parman Library's Indecisive Book Club, where we are too indecisive about the books we want to read and love to explore the shelves! Indecisive Book Club meets the second Monday of every month from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. See you there!
