Great SA: Women in the Culinary Industry

Great SA: Women in the Culinary Industry

Join us on March 5th for Great SA: Women in the Culinary Industry

Great SA is an events series about the history and culture that makes San Antonio and South Texas great.

Inspired by San Antonio’s designation as a Creative City of Gastronomy by UNESCO in 2017, TPR collaborated with the City of San Antonio’s World Heritage Office to host a series about the cultures that have influenced the cuisine of South Texas. In 2023, Great SA explored the influence of African Americans, Polish, and Native Americans, as well as Tex Mex culinary heritage.

At this community conversation hear from chefs such as Nicola from The Jerk Shack, Lizzeth with Naco Mexican Eatery, Blanca with Aldaco’s, Elizabeth with Pharm Table and Sofia of the InterContinental San Antonio Riverwalk Hotel.

Reserve your space for this free event!

In addition to sponsorship form the World Heritage Office, this series is made possible by sponsorship from San Antonio City of Gastronomy, June Hayes and Associates, Frost and H-E-B.
