Glass, Gershwin, and Groove

The SACMS is presenting the acclaimed wind quintet Windsync, joined by pianist Daniel Anastasio, in a high-energy program celebrating the vitality, rhythm, and color of American music. Known for their electrifying stage presence and memorized performances, WindSync brings chamber music to life through movement, theatrical engagement, and exceptional ensemble playing, creating performances that are both sophisticated and immediately accessible.

This American-themed program explores a wide spectrum of musical voices, featuring works by Philip Glass, Elliott Carter, Kenji Bunch, and Quincy Jones, culminating in a striking arrangement of George Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue. With Anastasio at the piano for several major works, the concert promises a thrilling blend of groove, lyricism, and virtuosic collaboration—an unforgettable showcase of chamber music at its most vibrant.

Individual tickets are $25 at the door or online at SACMS.org/concert-tickets. Students and Active-Duty Military are admitted FREE!
