Pianist Ellen Foreman may only be 18 years old, but her list of accomplishments is already remarkable, including a live performance at Carnegie Hall and broadcast performances on the NPR program “From the Top,” on KMFA-FM in Austin, and our own KPAC-FM in San Antonio. Recently, she was selected as the winner of the Texas State International Piano Festival Concerto Competition, and performed the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto with an orchestra. In addition, she has participated in the Piano Texas International Academy and Festival and the Puerto Rico International Piano Festival. She'll be attending Cornell University in the fall.

For her senior recital, Ellen Foreman will perform a one-hour recital at Texas Public Radio's Malú and Carlos Alvarez Theater featuring a wide range of classical piano repertoire.

This event is free and open to the public.
