Elegant Dialogues: From Galant Grace to Romantic Brilliance
Spend an afternoon with the musicians of The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center for the SEASON FINALE of the San Antonio Chamber Music Society’s season, on Sunday, April 26 at 3:15pm at Trinity Baptist Church, 319 E. Mulberry. Pianist Wu Han herself, the artistic director of the CMSLC, will be performing and engaging with the audience. A pre‑concert talk with Daniel Anastasio begins at 2:30pm, offering listeners a rare window into the artistry behind the music on the program.
This radiant program traces chamber music’s evolution from the poised elegance of the 18th century to the expressive richness of the Romantic era. Featuring works by Jean‑Marie Leclair, Giovanni Battista Viotti, Anton Arensky, and Camille Saint‑Saëns, the program highlights distinct voices across time, each illuminating a unique facet of musical dialogue and artistic transformation.
Individual tickets are $25 at the door or online at SACMS.org/concert-tickets. Students and Active-Duty Military are admitted FREE!
