Join us for an exciting kickoff party to celebrate the start of the City Nature Challenge 2025! This event is open to the public and perfect for nature lovers of all experience levels. We’ll kick off the evening by learning about how iNaturalist makes exploring nature exciting and how your observations can help protect San Antonio’s fantastic wildlife. Then, we’ll dive right in with a fun, hands-on demo of iNaturalist before heading out on a guided nature walk to start making observations together for the City Nature Challenge. As the sun sets, the fun continues with a black light event, where we’ll observe fascinating nocturnal creatures like moths and other nighttime wildlife.
