Want to participate in a simultaneous chess exhibition (simul play)? At this event, National Chess Master Alex Weinberg will be playing up to twenty separate games at the same time!

Those who wish to play must register in advance for one of the 20 player slots and then check-in at Molly Pruitt Library between 1:00pm and 1:30pm on Sunday, February 23rd. Players who register but fail to check-in by 1:30pm on Sunday risk losing their slot to players on the waiting list. Play will begin at 2:00 pm.

Once 20 participants have been registered, a waiting list will be started. Waitlisted people may have a chance to play if there are no-shows at 1:30pm the day of the event.

*If participants have a USCF (United States Chess Federation) ranking, then it must be below 1800 to play in this event; no USCF ratings above 1800.

Observers are welcome as long as they remain quiet and do not disturb participants during play.
