The Balcones Heights Jazz Festival will host its highly-anticipated 30th season on Friday, July 28 at the Wonderland Amphitheater at Wonderland of the Americas. Our opening act will be San Antonio Transit, a 10-piece tribute band delivering the classics from the legendary band Chicago at 7:30pm. Headlining at 9pm will be international soprano saxophonist and composer in smooth jazz, Marion Meadows.
Balcones Heights Jazz Festival has captivated jazz aficionados from in and around Texas with a free stellar line-up in the festival’s laid back and family-friendly atmosphere. David Muñoz is back again to host the Jazz Festival, as he has every year since the event’s inception.
Hillside seating around the Amphitheater is on a first-come, first-served basis. Food and beverage vendors will be on-site. Attendees can also visit the Food Court inside Wonderland of the Americas. No coolers and outside food and beverages are allowed at the Amphitheater. General admission to the festival and parking are free.
