Artists' books often stretch the imagination of what we consider a book. They are works of art in which artists use the medium of books to create small print runs or one-of-a-kind objects.
Isis Duran will provide an introduction to artists’ books, exploring what they are and how they originated. She will discuss their significance and explain how community members can access the artists’ book collection at UT San Antonio Special Collections. A selection of artists’ books from the collection will be on display.
