Alicia Luna: The Role of Research in Protecting the Ecology of San Antonio Natural Areas

The City of San Antonio Natural Areas are home to many endangered and endemic species. Join Alicia Luna as she highlights geological and biological features along with research efforts by the Natural Areas team to support native ecosystems.

Alicia will also present on her current thesis research project taking place at four Natural Area sites. Her research involves exploring the ecological relationship between the Golden-cheeked warbler and endangered karst invertebrates through cave cricket vegetation preferences.
