The SAISD Adult and Community Education program, in partnership with VIA, is hosting a Job Expo at Alamo Convocation Center on Thursday, August 12th from 12:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Attendance is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet 50 area employers that are hiring now, obtain college and career information from local colleges and universities, establish contacts through networking and identify free training opportunities. Participants at the Job EXPO will also have an opportunity to attend valuable career-related workshops on resume writing and interviewing strategies to assist in standing out in this competitive job market.
