Pentagon: No Lawyers for Foreign Detainees

The Pentagon files papers asserting that prisoners at Guantanamo Bay do not have the right to counsel when they file challenges to their imprisonment. The Supreme Court has ruled that the detainees have the right to use U.S. courts to contest their status. The Pentagon says only American citizens are guaranteed access to lawyers. NPR's Jackie Northam reports.
