With more than 15,000 acres of existing green space and a growing population, San Antonio is looking at new ways to enhance the outdoor experience for residents.

The City's plan for managing and improving the parks system is ready for its decennial update.

The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking feedback on the current state and possible opportunites for local parks and facilities, including over 181 miles of nature trails and public programs like free Fitness in the Park and youth summer camps.

How can exposure to nature and access to green spaces impact quality of life in a community? What are your favorite natural areas in San Antonio?
