Chris Eudaily
My journalism journey began with an idea for a local art and music zine and the gumption to make it happen with no real plan or existing skill set.
I eventually got my journalism degree at Texas State University-San Marcos, where I worked for two years at the campus radio station, KTSW 89.9 FM. I started at the front desk and then reported for, co-hosted and produced a feature news show.
And I was really good at it! I won several awards for my reporting and producing while in school, including awards from the Houston Press Club, Society of Professional Journalists, College Broadcasters Inc., and the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association.
I have worked in construction, day labor, pizza, managed a local band, and performed live as a DJ. When I am not working I love spending time with my wife and kids, and when possible sports, music, video games and comics/graphic novels.
Chris started at Texas Public Radio in May 2012. He left in September, 2014 to join the San Antonio Express-News digital team.
