  • Police in Milwaukee have recovered a Stradivarius violin and arrested three suspects in its theft. The instrument, said to be worth approximately $5 million, was stolen in a brazen armed robbery from the concertmaster of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra late last month.   • Organizers of a campaign to save the Willow Run Bomber Plant in Ypsilanti Township, Mich., say they've raised enough money to buy a part of the facility and turn it into a museum.
  • Most of the affected patients live in the South, because every state in the region except Arkansas and Kentucky opted against expanding the Medicaid program for the poor.
  • A last-minute crush of online orders and some bad weather kept the companies from getting some packages delivered before Christmas, they say. Both have called in extra workers and are renting extra trucks to make deliveries on Thursday.
