Got drugs? We mean the legal kind that you want to get rid of.
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration will be taking unwanted and expired prescription medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday. (April 30).
In the past five years the DEA has collected and destroyed more than 21/2 tons of unused and potentially dangerous medications.
Pills and other solids, such as patches, will be accepted. Do not take liquids, needles or other sharp objects to the collection sites. No questions will be asked and it’s free.
