Gustavo Dudamel Conducts the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra
Carnegie Hall's Voices from Latin America series presents the exciting young Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestraunder the direction of Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel.  The program includes works by 20th-century Latin American composers Carlos Chávez, Julián Orbón and Silvestre Revueltas.  Carnegie Hall Live airs Monday, December 10 at 7 p.m.

TPR Announces Redesigned Website
Visitors to tpr.orgwill notice significant changes to the website, including several notable enhancements.  The new layout allows us to present local news coverage alongside arts and classical music news and also features multiple options for online listeners, including a pop-up audio player and links to iTunes and Windows Media players.  A custom web experience for mobile device users is also available.  Visit m.tpr.orgon your iPhone or Android device.

TPR Launches HearSA Audio Archive
Texas Public Radio has created HearSA, an archive of audio recordings of cultural, political, and educational events, with the collaboration of six initial community partners: Bihl Haus Arts, The Center for Medical Humanities & Ethics, McNay Art Museum, St. Mary's University, Texas Lutheran University and The World Affairs Council of San Antonio.  The HearSA archive is located at tpr.org/topic/hearsa..

Dudley Harris Annual Studio Open House to Benefit TPR
Surprise that special someone with a one-of-a-kind holiday gift and show your support for Texas Public Radio at the same time. Dr. Dudley Harris is presenting his pottery work at his annual Studio Open House at 219 Palo Grande from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on December 8, 15 and 16.  All proceeds from the December 8 event will benefit TPR.  Dudley's ceramic specialty is making bowls for the kitchen and table.  His work and directions to his studio can be viewed at www.thebeautifulbowl.com.  TPR thanks Dr. Harris for his generosity and ongoing support.
