Fiesta with us at the Arboretum’s first ¡Viva El Bosque! This family-friendly celebration features hands-on activities, engaging education partners, food, music, and more. Become a bird and fly through the trees, learn about birding on the Artist Bird Walk with Mark Menjivar, screen print with artist Jose Sotelo, or take a pruning principles class with a certified arborist, snag a FREE TREE at the tree giveaway.

Other activities include Arboretum tours, Little Birder I Spy, music by DJ Nova Soul, Nature Playscape by Urban Tree, and of course, our education partners. Enjoy music, food, and the beauty of the Salado Creek.

There's something for the whole family to inspire a connection to our trees and birds. Our education partners will be bringing fun activities to enjoy at their booths.

Wear comfortable, outdoor footwear, bring a water bottle, protection from sun, and bug spray. While all activated areas will be mowed, plan on spending time under the trees in an outdoor environment. Consider leaving strollers at home (some walking paths will be in the grass or on mulch) or you can take advantage of the stroller check in.

And, we love our furry friends, but please leave them at home. There will be parking available at the entrance.

This is a family friendly event with no alcohol.
