The Mexican American Civil Rights Institute and MonteVideo celebrate Women’s History Month with Latina Spring, a curated selection of inspiring films by Latina and Indigenous women directors! Latina Spring is presented in partnership with UNAM San Antonio and Austin Film Society Cinema.
The Latina Spring Film Series begins with the Femme Frontera Showcase. Femme Frontera centers the experiences of women and gender-expansive people within the U.S./Mexico border diaspora, as well as border regions around the world. The 9th Annual Femme Frontera Showcase includes films from Mexico and the United States. The Femme Frontera Showcase is presented in partnership with the Latino Collection and Resource Center at the San Antonio Public Library.
