The Scobee Planetarium will offer summer matinee programming this year on Wednesdays, June 7th through August 2nd. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. for ticket sales in the Lackey Camp-Casper Ticket Booth in our center with presentations beginning at 1:00 p.m. Families need to be together to be seated and there are no late entries. The matinees are not intended for camp and community groups of 25 or more. These groups need to call the center at 210-486-0100 to make reservations for separate programs during available weeks this summer. On dates when we offer family presentations, children of all ages are welcome, and we host shows at 1:00pm and 2:00pm. All other programs require children to be 6yrs or older to attend and will only host a single show at 1:00pm.
