More than 59 participating artists will open their studios in the historic Deco District for the 17th annual On and Off Fredericksburg Road Studio Tour presented by Bihl Haus Arts from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 8 and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, March 9.

“On & Off Fred” is a self-guided tour of private homes, art studios and galleries of participating artists of all kinds – painters, sculptors, and photographers. The studio tour kicks off with the On & Off Fred Autograph Party and opening reception from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 7 at Bihl Haus Arts, 2803 Fredericksburg Road inside the Sorento Apartments. Artists featured in “On & Off Fred” live and/or work in surrounding Fredericksburg Road communities, including Alta Vista, Beacon Hill, Los Angeles Heights, Jefferson, Keystone, Monticello Park, Woodlawn Lake, and Edison.

“We invite the community to come enjoy a weekend of art and opportunities to meet the talented artists and purchase artworks directly from them,” said Nicholas Gonzales, Bihl Haus Arts executive director. “We want to highlight the quality and variety of outstanding professional artists who live and/or work in the Deco District, and we hope you will come support them.”
