No one is predicting a white Christmas for San Antonio, no one except Cameo Theatre, a local theater troupe that is putting on a production based on the 1954 musical starring Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby.

"It’s got a large cast of 25 people. A large ensemble cast," said Zacchariah, who said the group has more or less followed the movie plot, but with a few twists.
“They’ve added more Irving Berlin songs, so if you’re an Irving Berlin fan, this is the musical for you,” he said.
I asked him if parking was readily available for the Cameo.
“Yes, we have two lots that say St. Paul Square Parking, there’s 150 spaces on the street that are available for free usually during a show,” Zacchariah said.
Christmas is upon us, but as he says, "White Christmas" at the Cameo goes on a little longer.
“The 27th, Friday at 8 p.m., the 28th, Saturday at 8 p.m., the 29th, Sunday at 4 p.m. New Year’s eve at 8 p.m., including fireworks," he said.
After the play, theater goers will traipse up to the roof to watch the City of San Antonio fireworks show, which is nearby.
"A great private place to watch the fireworks," Zacchariah said.
A bonus that seems almost worth the price of admission itself. As to performances, they’ve also got a New Year's Day matinee.
So do they get a white Christmas?
"And in the end it does snow on stage," Zacchariah said.
So there you go, there will be a white Christmas here in the city.
