The NWS extended a flash flood warning in parts of Kerr County until 7 p.m., including the cities of Hunt, Ingram and Kerrville. A flood warning means that flash flooding is actively occurring in the area. Residents are urged to immediately seek higher ground and avoid walking or driving into floodwaters.
Several other flash flood warnings remain in effect throughout the region. That includes the Guadalupe River from Center Point to Bergheim until 3:30 p.m.; the Pedernales River in Central Blanco County and Southern Gillespie County until 4:30 p.m.; and Uvalde County until 4:15 p.m.
