Deadline to apply for assistance from FEMA is Sunday, Sept. 28

There are only a few days left for Texans who were impacted by devastating July flooding to apply for federal disaster assistance.

Individuals have until Sunday, Sept. 28, to submit damages and makes claims to the Federal Emergency Management Agency for financial assistance for disaster-related expenses.

This includes help with temporary housing, as well as funeral and medical expenses.

Apply at DisasterAssistance.gov.
