One of two flood disaster recovery centers organized by FEMA will shut down in Kerrville this week

The FEMA center at the Hill Country Youth Event Center on Memorial Blvd. will permanently close Thursday, September 11.

The FEMA center at L.J. Vineyards in Hunt remains open.

Specialists from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration are still available to help flood survivors.

Texans impacted by July floods have until September 28th to apply for FEMA disaster assistance.
