FEMA opens disaster recovery center in Hunt

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is opening a disaster recovery center on Friday, July 25, in Kerr County.

The location at LJ Vineyards is located off state Highway 39 in Hunt. It will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to assist survivors who've suffered damages or losses from severe flooding.

Survivors have until September 4th to apply for FEMA disaster assistance.

The organizations working together to help the flood victims said that the best way to help is with monetary donations.
