Kerr County Animal Services (KCAS) is asking for a pause in pet food donations.
KCAS says the facility has had multiple pallets of food delivered in the past two days, and it is at capacity for storing it.
Cash donations are still accepted.
Those would like to provide goods are asked to call KCAS in advance to ask what supplies may be needed.
The organizations working together to help the flood victims said that the best way to help is with monetary donations.
