Small businesses in disaster zone may access $5 million in recovery loans

State officials announced that $5 million in disaster recovery loans is now available for micro-businesses impacted by Texas flooding earlier this month.

The Texas Micro-Business Disaster Recovery Loan Program provides zero interest loans to help qualifying businesses recover and rebuild.

Micro-businesses have no more than 20 employees and must be in communities where a local, state, or federal disaster has been declared.
