A baby is born in Gaza, as her family pays a tragic price under Israeli bombardment

Editor’s note: This story contains graphic content.

And they’re inundated with thousands of wounded and frightened people. Meanwhile every day, women are still giving birth.

NPR’s Elissa Nadworny tells us about one newborn: A baby girl named Mariam.
