Resort areas in the U.S. are having a moment, as residents of more urban, pandemic-stricken areas flock to open spaces.
In remote western Maine, many of those newcomers are settling down permanently, bringing welcome economic activity, and challenges, too. Maine Public Radio’s Fred Bever reports.
