President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria addressed the nation Thursday after weeks of silence as the #EndSARS protests have roiled the country.
On Oct. 20, Nigerian Armed Forces fired into a crowd of peaceful protesters, allegedly killing seven, but Thursday night President Buhari seemed to call on the protesters to exercise restraint.
